Turkish National Architectural Competition for Diploma Projects
Archiprix Competition, which was first organized in Holland, is organised by Turkey Group (Doğan Hasol, Şevki Vanlı, Hülya Yürekli and Ferhan Yürekli) in 1996 and it is being carried out in Turkey as well with the cooperation of YEM and Şevki Vanlı Architecture Foundation. Archiprix is the most long lasting competition that has created the “competition” tradition among Turkish architecture students.

The objective of Archiprix-Turkey where students from faculties of architecture compete with their graduation projects gives an opportunity to young and talented architectures to perform their profession, it increases the competition between Architecture schools in Turkey, gives an opportunity to the companies in the sector to meet with young talents, contributes to elevating the prestige of architecture in Turkey and creates an environment to strengthen the mutual relation of business areas with schools.

Every year YEM Publications publishes a catalogue covering all the projects that competed in Archiprix competition and projects that are awarded are displayed in universities in different cities of Anatolia. This competition where young architects accomplish their first success in their profession is highly appreciated.

PROSteel International Steel Structure Design Student Competition
International Steel Structure Design Student Competition – PROSteel is being organized since 2002 with the cooperation of Turkish Structural Steel Association and Borusan Mannesmann to develop creative solutions that emphasize the superior aspects of steel structures, to encourage students in the departments of architecture and civil engineering to cooperate, and to help students gain experience on designing and constructing steel structures. Every year participation to the competition increases.
